The Highlandtown Healthy Living Center is a LEED Core and Shell Gold level certified building in Baltimore’s Highlandtown neighborhood. The 60,000 SF medical office building is home to Baltimore Medial System (BMS), a full services medical facility that provides health services to the economically and environmentally challenged community of Highlandtown. Originally, these two projects were to be certified as one. However, due to creative differences, and under the recommendation of Doo Consulting, the two projects split, enabling BMS and the owner of HHLC to achieve their own sustainability goals. Doo Consulting provided guidance on the green building strategies for the building and interior and managed the LEED documentation for the project team.
Doo Consulting Role: Doo Consulting provided consulting and documentation services for this project.
