Elysium Fourteen is comprised of two primary components: market-rate boutique apartments and a retail space on 14th Street. The development will embody the value imbued by high quality materials & construction, and a high level of environmental performance including both standard and innovative green strategies. The development will be a quality example of adaptive re-use in an urban context with access to transit and amenities. Madison Investments, LLC, are developing a 9,540 square foot (0.22 acre) lot, including a nine story retail and multifamily residential building composed of concrete and metal framing, a three story masonry and wood structure building which will be renovated for retail use on the ground and second floor and residential use on the third floor, and a two story masonry and wood structure building which will be renovated for residential use.
The project will consist of the razing of an existing building, the interior renovation of the existing historical building, and the construction of a new 9 story mixed use retail and residential building on the property. No on site parking is being proposed as part of the development and loading is being proposed off of the existing alley on Wallach Place.
