Peter C. Doo

Peter Doo, FAIA, LEED Fellow, is the founder and a Principal of Doo Consulting LLC and a recognized leader in sustainability. An early LEED Accredited Professional, he now works with a variety of rating systems including LEED, Green Globes, the Living Building Challenge and Envision. His creative and technical knowledge as an architect allows him to bring innovative ideas to the projects on which he works. Grounded in the practicalities of the project and a solid understanding of architectural process and principles, Peter contributes inspiration and expertise to the project team.

Peter was one of the original founders of the US Green Building Council Maryland Chapter and was instrumental in helping pass the first high performance building legislation for the State and Baltimore City. His vision and strong reputation for a commitment to sustainability earned him an appointment by the Governor of Maryland to the Maryland State Green Building Council, where he served two terms. Peter helped found the Baltimore City Office of Sustainability and the Sustainability Commission where he served for ten years. Peter has spoken at many conferences and conducted numerous sustainability training programs for architects, contractors and the public.

Peter enjoys tending to his garden and wandering aimlessly around golf courses.
