Lorraine Doo, MSW, MPH, LEED AP, WELL AP, Fitwel ambassador, is a Principal at Doo Consulting LLC and focuses her energy on strategic consulting. Lorraine’s expertise includes sustainability planning, metrics, training, workshop facilitation, and implementation of the operational aspects of WELL, Fitwel, and the Living Building Challenge. Her public health background gives the firm a unique perspective on the health and wellness in the built environment, which can be accommodated by material selection and design considerations. She is also a technology buff, with a keen fascination with the Internet of Things (IoT) and the impact that can have on improving building design and efficiency.
Lorraine is an ambassador for the Living Building Challenge, and was the facilitator for the original Baltimore Living Building Collaborative. She is also one of the policy advisors on the East Coast for the International Living Future Institute. In 2016, she and Peter Doo were jointly recognized as Living Future Heroes.
Pleasures include time in her studio, gardening, cooking, making (very) hot sauce, traveling, running, learning banjo, volunteering in the community, and family.
